Start With an Assessment, Then Decide
The standard approach at Naga is to begin with a clear look at the watch before committing to any work. This means you always know what you are agreeing to — and the service level reflects the actual state of the movement, not a default package.
For most watches that have not been serviced in several years, the Movement Overhaul is the appropriate choice. For family pieces or watches with sentimental significance, the Heirloom Restoration offers a fuller, more collaborative process. The Assessment & Clean is there for watches that may need less, or where the owner wants information before deciding.

Service Assessment & Clean

A practical first service that begins with a careful assessment, followed by cleaning of accessible parts, light lubrication, and gentle regulation. Seals and crown are checked and a clear condition note is shared. A sensible starting point that helps you decide on any further care.

Service 02
Movement Overhaul

A complete overhaul for movements that have lost reliability. Everything is disassembled, cleaned, and re-oiled, with the balance, escapement, and mainspring reviewed and renewed where needed. Timing is regulated across positions and seals refreshed. Suited to well-used watches.

Service 03
Heirloom Restoration

A respectful restoration for family heirlooms and treasured older watches. We overhaul the movement, conserve the case and dial in keeping with their age, and make every decision together with you so the piece's history is preserved. The work is documented from start to finish.

- Dial assessment and careful cleaning only (no refinishing unless agreed)
- Crystal replacement where needed
- Collaborative decision-making at each stage
- Full photographic documentation

Family heirlooms, vintage pocket or wristwatches, and pieces where the original patina and character matter as much as the mechanical function.

What Applies to Every Service
Secure Handling
Every piece is catalogued on arrival and stored securely while in our care. No watch is left unattended on the bench.
No Surprises
Pricing is fixed and transparent. Any additional cost — such as a replacement part — is discussed and agreed before it is incurred.
Correct Lubricants
The right grade of oil or grease for each specific application, applied with appropriate instruments — not brushed on broadly.
Written Notes
Every watch leaves with a note explaining what was found and what was done, in language that does not require a watchmaking background to understand.
Seal and Crown Check
The integrity of the crown and gaskets is noted as part of every service, giving you an honest picture of the watch's current water resistance status.
Parts Sourcing
We source replacement parts through established supply channels for both new and vintage references. Availability is communicated upfront where it affects the timeline.
