Please read these terms before using our website or engaging our services.
1. Definitions
- "Naga" refers to the watch repair and restoration workshop operating at 73 U Thong Road, Pratu Chai, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya 13000, Thailand.
- "Services" means watch assessment, servicing, overhaul, and restoration work carried out by Naga.
- "Client" or "You" means any person who contacts Naga via this website or brings a watch for service.
- "Agreement" means these Terms & Conditions together with any service quotation or written work order.
- "Watch" means any timepiece left in Naga's care for assessment or service work.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By submitting a contact form on this website, making an enquiry, or leaving a watch for service, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
Our services are available to persons aged 18 and over. By engaging our services, you confirm you have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.
If you are acting on behalf of another person (such as authorising a service on someone else's watch), you confirm that you have the authority to do so.
3. Service Description
Naga offers three levels of watch care: Service Assessment & Clean (฿4,400), Movement Overhaul (฿9,700), and Heirloom Restoration (฿14,300). Full descriptions of each service are available on our Solutions page.
Services are carried out at our Ayutthaya workshop. We do not offer postal or courier-based servicing through this website; watches must be delivered and collected in person or via a courier arranged by the client.
Service availability is subject to current workshop capacity. We will advise you of estimated timelines when confirming a service booking.
4. Client Responsibilities
- You confirm that the watch you bring for service is your property, or that you have the owner's authority to have it serviced.
- You agree to provide accurate information about the watch's history, known faults, and any previous service work when asked.
- You agree to collect the watch within 30 days of being notified that the work is complete. We will notify you by phone or email.
- You will not use this website for any unlawful or unauthorised purpose.
5. Payment Terms
All prices are stated in Thai Baht (฿). Payment is due upon collection of the watch. We accept cash, bank transfer, and major debit/credit cards.
Deposit: For Heirloom Restoration work, a deposit of up to 50% of the agreed price may be requested before parts are sourced or work begins. This will be clearly stated in the work order.
Additional costs: If the assessment reveals a need for parts or work beyond the standard service scope, we will contact you and obtain written or verbal agreement before proceeding. No additional costs are incurred without your agreement.
Uncollected watches: Watches not collected within 60 days of notification may be subject to a storage fee of ฿200 per week. Watches uncollected after 6 months, with no contact from the client, may be disposed of in accordance with Thai law after further written notice.
6. Service-Specific Terms
Scope changes: If during an overhaul or restoration additional issues are found, we will pause work and contact you before proceeding. We will not expand the scope of work without your agreement.
Parts availability: For vintage or uncommon calibres, specific parts may need to be sourced. We will advise you of any impact on timeline or cost before confirming the work.
Restoration decisions: For Heirloom Restoration, decisions about case work, dial treatment, and parts replacement are made collaboratively. You will be consulted before any irreversible step is taken.
Timelines: Estimated timelines are given in good faith. We are not liable for delays caused by parts availability, courier delays, or unforeseen complexity in the work.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on this website — text, images, design, and layout — is the property of Naga or its licensors and may not be reproduced without permission.
Service documentation and condition notes produced by Naga remain the property of Naga until the watch and associated invoice have been paid in full, at which point copies are provided to the client as part of the completed service.
8. Disclaimers
Watch repair and restoration involves working with aged, worn, or delicate mechanical components. While we take every care in our work, we cannot be responsible for pre-existing faults, latent damage, or the failure of worn components that were not identified during assessment.
We do not offer any representation that a serviced watch will achieve specific performance results, as results depend on the condition and age of the movement.
Information on this website is provided for general purposes and does not constitute professional horological advice for specific circumstances.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Thai law, Naga's liability for any claim arising from a service shall not exceed the amount paid by the client for that specific service.
We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental losses, including but not limited to loss of use, sentimental value, or business interruption.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death, personal injury, or fraud caused by Naga's negligence.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify Naga from any claim, loss, or expense arising from your breach of these Terms, misrepresentation of ownership of the watch, or any unlawful use of our services.
11. Termination
Either party may withdraw from a service agreement before work has begun, provided written or verbal notice is given. If work has begun, a fair assessment of work completed to that point may be charged.
Naga reserves the right to decline or cease service for any watch without providing a reason, returning the watch to the client in the condition it was received.
12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of Thailand. Any dispute arising from these Terms or our services will first be addressed through direct, informal negotiation.
If informal resolution is not achieved within 30 days, disputes will be referred to the competent courts in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province, Thailand.
Consumer rights under Thai consumer protection law are not affected by these terms.
13. General Provisions
- Entire agreement: These terms, together with any written service quotation, constitute the entire agreement between the parties.
- Severability: If any provision is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full effect.
- Waiver: Failure by Naga to enforce any term does not constitute a waiver of that term.
- Assignment: You may not assign your rights under these terms without Naga's written consent.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of this website or our services after such changes constitutes acceptance.
